Menifee Lakes CC, November 8-9, 2008
Boys 15-18
Over a three year period on the California Junior Tour, Won Mun, a Senior at Rancho Buena Vista High School, had 8 top four tournament finishes, but no wins. That situation was decisively rectified at Menifee Lakes CC, November 8-9. Following a 71 in ideal conditions on Saturday, for a 4-stroke lead, Mun followed up on Sunday, overcoming a cold gusting wind and a triple bogy, to match the second best score of the day in the division, to hang on to his four-stroke margin and to claim his first California Junior Tour victory.
Christopher Anderson, Culver City, Robert Huff, Concord and Hua Chen, Beaumont all finished in a tie for second place with scores of 152.

Boys 11-14
Beau Hossler, Rancho Margarita, continued his winning ways with a two stroke win over Danny Ochoa, Rancho Santa Fe. Hossler followed a 2-under par round on Saturday with a 73 on Sunday for his second consecutive Victory of the California Junior Tour 2008 Fall Series.
After an up and down round on Saturday, Andrew Rudy, San Diego, came charging back on Sunday with an even par round of 72 to take third place. His 72 was the lowest score posted in any age division in Sunday’s cold and windy conditions.

Girls 15-18
Meng-Chu Chen, Beaumont, got off to a slow start on Saturday with bogies on the first four holes, before settling down for a score of 78. She completed her turn-around on Sunday with five birdies over the last ten holes to card a 73 for a 151 total and her first win on the California Junior Tour.
Sunshine Baraquiel, Chatsworth, Tiffany Yang, Beverly Hills, and Sara Handa, Poway, finished 2nd, 3rd and  4th

Beau Hossler Wins By Seven Strokes
Beau Hossler, Rancho Santa Margarita, dominated the Boys 11-14 division with a 6-under par score of 138 for a 7-stroke margin of victory. Beau’s final score included 6 birdies and 2 eagles over two days. It was Beau’s first appearance on the CJT 2008-09 season, following a 2007-08 season during which he won six times and never finished lower than 5th place.

Sunshine Baraquiel Wins in First CJT Appearance
