AJGA Performance Stars and Tournament Exemptions for the 2009-10 Season

New for the 2009-10 season will be a total of 8 Junior All-Star (JAS) tournament exemptions for competitors in the 11-14 age divisions.  These will be in addition to the Performance stars and tournament exemptions for the 15-18 age divisions.

2010 Callaway Junior World Championship Invitations

Invitations to the July 2010 Callaway Junior World Championships will be issued to the top players, not already qualified, in each boys and girls age division of the CJT Fall Championship.  
Top boys and girls in the 11-14 age divisions of the Championship Tournament will receive an invitation to the 13-14 age divisions of Junior World and those in the 15-18 age divisions will receive an invitation for the 15-17 age divisions of Junior World. 
To be eligible to compete in either of the California Junior Tour Fall Championship, a junior must be a member of the California Junior Tour in good standing, have played in a minimum of one tournament in the series immediately preceding the Championship tournament and have met other requirements set forth in the CJT Member Handbook. The CJT Member Handbook can be accessed by clicking on the “Handbook” link on the homepage of this website.  

 

2009 USGA National Junior Boys and Girls Sectional Qualifiers 

Congratulations are in order for these juniors who have gained tournament experience on the California Junior tour and have done well in 2009 Boys and Girls USGA Junior championship sectional qualifiers. Three of the five California Boys qualifiers, one of two California Girls qualifiers, the Nevada Boys qualifier, and the Utah Girls qualifier were all won by players with California Junior Tour experience and three girls were fully exempt from any qualifying.
